Description of Jewellery
This piece draws from whirlpool motifs used in Miao ornamentation, where continuous curves are arranged to form rotational patterns. The design adapts these elements into a clustered circular structure suited to contemporary jewellery.
The composition places multiple whirlpool units around a central point, keeping attention on proportion and the clarity of the outer line. Made in 990 silver using traditional hand-hammering and engraving techniques, the earrings retain the defined contours characteristic of this craft.
The earrings present a long-standing ornamental structure in a distilled contemporary form, with rotational order and proportion guiding its resolution.
